I am currently living in the Eastbay with my husband and our blended family of six children ages 14 to 23. Three are out of the house and we're nudging the other's! My oldest is a sophmore at UC Davis and my youngest is a Junior in High School. This many teenagers is enough to make any woman crazy--but I have a wonderful husband and a beautiful Boxer dog that keep me sane. I spent 25 years as a nurse and working in hospital administration, working in the Bay Area, Reno, Pittsburgh PA. most recently in San Ramon as the Chief Operating Officer, but left the business in 2001 to join my husband, Doug, to work in our own company which specializes in land aquisition and real estate development. I still love football, and became a Steelers fan with my oldest son while we were living in Pittsburgh. Doug has had 49R season tickets since the 70's, so with all of our boys, football is still important to our family. I still love to cook, read and spend time with friends. I am in regular contact with Denee Simic and Penny Campbell. My family loves to ski, so we are in Tahoe often in the winter. I have recently gone back to school to learn viticulture and winemaking...we have a small vineyard on our property, that we are having fun with. Hopefully, we'll be making wine in another year, maybe two. After we get the younger ones off to college, we hope to spend more time traveling and spending our time between the mountains and the island of Kauai. I am happy and healthy and feel very blessed.
