Personal Info/Bio

2013 - After high school, I began a promising professional baseball career that took me to the AAA level at the spry age of 20, just a notch below the Major Leagues.  Turned out my only "claim to fame" would be getting traded to the Houston Astros for Claude Osteen (former 20 game winner with the LA Dodgers) as the following year my dreams would be shattered by a line drive off the bat of an opposing player that fractured the ring finger of my pitching hand.  A few years later a shoulder injury would end the dream.

I just completed my 35th year with PG&E and am now looking to retire this year.  My sister-in-law in Oregon is expanding her very successful retirement planning business into Sonoma County and I will managing that office (I've been licensed with the state for almost 10 years).  Very exciting to start a new career at age 58!

I've been living in Sonoma County since 1982 and is where I reside today (Rohnert Park).  Met the gal of my dreams 10 years ago and we've been married 7 years.  Together we have 6 adult kids (her 4 girls - Megan, Heather, Cara, Dana - and my two, Kristen and Ronnie).  And we have 5 grandkids, ages newborn to 6.  (Love being a grandpa!).  But I will tell you it's not the terrible 2's, it's the terrible 20's!  *:-O surprise

I still stay in touch, play golf, etc., with the 'ol gang of misfits, Knudsen, Rawls, Say Say, Hardin, Souza, and Coach Quirico.  I treasure my annual fishing trips with my BFF, Scott Erwin.

I am really looking forward to seeing everyone.  Very sad to know we've lost a few people - way too young.  And the recent picture, well that was 35 lbs. ago!
